This registration is for the Midget Spring League taking place between March and May 2025.  We are going to shoot for 5 on 5 for Spring League, however based on registration numbers that may become 4 v 4 or 3 v 3.  The rules for Spring League are as follows:

 MIDGET 

Midget spring league will consist of 10 Games

Each team is responsible for supplying one person to assist as a clock attendant. No Scoresheet is used.

Rules

Two 20 minute running time periods – DO NOT STOP CLOCK

2 min warm-up. 2 min between periods

45 minute curfew

Ice cut every second game

All penalties result in a breakaway from the center dot with the other players still on ice on blue line behind shooter and following into zone to continue play

No off sides, no icing

1 referee is used

3 penalties result in Game Misconduct

Fighting is strictly prohibited

Any player receiving a Fighting or Major Misconduct will be expelled from league with no refund

Subs may be use during a game only to bring the team to a min. of 6, 8 or 10 skaters (depending on if it is 5v5, 4v4 or 3v3) and 1 goalie. Substitutes must be currently registered to play on another Scottsville spring team and must be division appropriate or from below.
